Grandparents

Claude and Nettie Kelsey were my Grandparents from my mom's side. My Mother Della is a Kelsey. She is a hard worker and stubborn at times. Traits I'm sure she learned or inherited from here Father. I didn't get to know Grandma Kelsey very well. I remember her letting me play with these glass clackers and she always had ginger snaps. I also remember helping her pick apples off her tree. Grandpa Kelsey I remember was a tease and fun to be around. He passed away when I was 19 in 1985. Greatful for my heritage and to have Kelsey blood running through my veins.

Getting Started

After going to the Kelsey reunion in Idaho this past month, we talked about starting a blog so that we could post family history items pertaining to Claude and Nettie Kelsey's family history and their descendants.

On this blog we would like to include family histories, pictures, a pedigree chart, a family group sheet, a time line, and original documents. We will include links to other family related blogs and websites. We will have labels for each child (Dawn, Dix, Della, D'Anne, Davie etc) so that we can tag posts and help keep the blog organized. It would be great to have one person from each child be an author to this blog and be able keep the rest of the family updated on events and family history work that is being done. It would also be great to be able to keep contact info on this blog too so that each line of the family can stay connected.
